Get More Roads Leading To You?

The store owners are loving the extra $1,200 direct payments made to US taxpayers, and the overly generous unemployment benefits, along with the way that the hours can be manipulated by an employee to maximize their “benefits.” 

I visited 5 different furniture and bedroom stores, every sales person said the same thing, "we’ve been busier than ever!" Breaking records month after month. 

Hearing the same story at car dealerships. 

In the past 60 days, I’ve purchased 4 different vehicles and looking for a 5th one right now. Sales guys are getting fat and happy, but it’s surely not because they are sales pros. In fact, only one of the dozen I have spoken to really knew how to sell.

There are industries and sectors thriving. 

There are industries and sectors getting demolished. 

…but even inside of those getting demolished…there are winners. Often, these are the Renegade Millionaires that find a way to win, no matter the hand they are dealt.

How Many Roads Lead To You

Last week, we discussed creating multiple lead generation offers to sift and sort your prospects. Here at Magnetic Marketing, we have seven different pillars or categories of information that we can provide. 

Not every person is interested in copywriting for example. 

So sending copywriting offers to everyone, all the time, would be silly. 

We’ve recently launched a new funnel, just to create copywriting leads. Then we can move them toward a copywriting product. 

Makes perfect sense, right? 

It’s Magnetic Marketing 101. Market, Message, Media…Match. Get it right and the riches will follow.

Once you have a great offer, you then need traffic. 

Another thing Dan has taught us all for years is that the worst number in business is 1. One of anything is a bad plan.

As an example, if your only source of traffic is Facebook, this is not a good position to be in. 

It might be a great place to test, but the sooner you can find other ways to drive traffic to you the better. 

It could be mail, radio, TV, newspapers or more social media. 

Imagine if Trump did shutdown TikTok here in the US and you’re an “influencer” making money only from TikTok. In one flip of a switch you’re done. 

Dan has long had a strategy that included getting many roads leading back to him. 

Many of these informal arrangements. Dan would provide an article for information marketers to share with their tribes. Many would put in their newsletters because it was an easy way to fill a page. 

They then put an information box leading back to either an opt-in or a trial of the newsletter. 

Dan had this all mapped out on a sheet of paper. At one time he had dozens to hundreds of individuals sharing these articles, each sending a little bit of traffic to him and the Magnetic Marketing Community.

Many roads. 

Not one superhighway that could quickly get shut down. 

We’re in the process of re-building many of these roads and getting more traffic to the new offers that we’re creating. 

In your business how can you do the same?

First, get an offer that works, then find two, three, four, ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred or more ways to get traffic to your offer.

At Magnetic Marketing, we’re working on finding ways to make paid media work, so we’re not dependent upon anyone else to send traffic.

…but at the same time, we’re working to re-build our “affiliate” network. Some will produce well, others may not produce at all. 

…the goal, however, is to have dozens to hundreds of roads leading back to us.
