Often, members are looking for a simple answer or a simple solution, which Dan Kennedy warned against, but his answer was simple to understand.
You’re not looking for just media choices that match up with your niche. As an example, if you’re selling a golf widget, you may or may not want to be in Golf Magazine or on the Golf channel.
You should be looking for other places that your ideal customers, clients, and patients are aggregated or hanging out.
Where else do a lot of golfers hang out? What events do they attend? What podcasts do they listen to? What TV shows are they watching? What magazines are they reading?
And if you can find places or media they are hanging out, and you are the only golf offer, you may have a better chance than mixed in with dozens of other golf offers.
Dan’s answer to Carl was to find media and opportunities to have your offer where what’s most important is, who's reading it, listening to it and watching it.
