At Magnetic Marketing one thing that separates us from the ‘civilians’ is that we celebrate being successful, we find it to be our duty.

Now success likely means something different to you than it does to me.

If you have invested in the Renegade Millionaire 2.0 program, Dan Kennedy walks through his Renegade Millionaire Principles. Simply following many of them, you’ll find success as you define success, not as what your parents told you success was or what TV tells you success is.

No, you live life on your terms and you define it.

And work toward it every single day.

It’s your plan. It’s your life. You should design it just as YOU want it to be.

The way Dan has designed his life and success is not the way I'd want my life to look.

I have little interest in only having clients visit me in my basement, only communicate by fax, and only scheduled phone calls.

I’d also have little interest in owning horses or racing them.

For me, I personally love to go and ride my bike, run or swim any time that I’d like.

I find great pleasure in meeting interesting, new people as I travel, strike up conversations at restaurants and discover things I may have not known this morning when I woke up.

In fact the last two nights, I’ve met interesting, new people who were vacationing here on Marco Island. For me, too much privacy would cut off what fuels me. I'm private, but I enjoy interesting and unplanned conversations.

What Dan's definition of success and mine have in common is Autonomy.

Living our life on our terms and to me...that's the ultimate success.

Inside of the Renegade Millionaire System, there are some interesting principles. Dan talks about always carrying $100 bills, ideally more of them so they ‘breed’.

They are kind of “WOO-WOO”.

One that Dan talks about is “Overtipping” people like servers and bartenders who serve you.

It seems like an odd and strange way to attract more money and success to you, but it truly works if you begin to practice it.

The world works in mysterious ways.

Earlier this week at the grocery store, I got there about 7:30 AM in time to get some food for lunch before I began calls and meetings. My schedule was jammed starting at 8:45 AM.

I got to Publix and it was already busy and at the deli counter only one girl was working. She was trying to keep up, but it was busy. There was a gentleman behind me who was dressed for a busy day. He looked like a home builder, but found out he worked at a nursery. He was anxious and I could tell he was in a hurry. He then said it out loud to me “I have to get to work”.

I replied to him… ”Please go in front of me.” He was shocked, sadly in our society few people do kind things like this so it caught him off guard.

He got his sub, I got mine after him. Maybe I waited two or three minutes longer, but this guy who actually had to punch in for someone could get on his way to work.

I had a busy day, but it wasn’t vital that I got to my computer two minutes earlier.

It made this guy’s morning. It cost me nothing.

Within minutes I was checking out with one sub sandwich. There was just one line open to check out and the guy in line had two carts full. He looked at me and asked if I just had the sub sandwich. When I replied “yes” he said please go in front of me.

So I got my two minutes back and made another person’s day too.

I bet the guy who let me through had something great happen that day as well.

One thing I know about successful people is they do many things that the average person finds counterintuitive. I have family members who will sometimes question why I help so many people and organizations.

When you give, you get far more back. It’s odd. It happens with not just money, but with time too.
